Donations In Memory Of Betty Patterson

A note from Romaine on the passing today of her mother Betty:

Anyone, who has ever heard me talk about my mom Betty knows what a wonderful and beautiful person she was. Her greatest loves in life have been her family and her work within the Tongue River community. When my mom first moved to Ranchester, WY she took a job in a small one room library. Over 23 years she built that library up one book at a time until she had a library that was so used and needed that they had to expand into a larger space. Betty loved books and often could read a book in single day.

She has asked that any charitable donations in her memory be made to that library in Ranchester, WY which as luck may have it is now expanding into an even larger space and is looking for donations to complete its renovations. Betty loved that little library and took so much pride in it. So please help me and the entire Patterson family honor Betty's memory by making a donation (in lieu of flowers) to the Tongue River Branch Library that she loved so dearly.

Donations can be sent to:

Tongue River Branch Library
P.O. Box 909
Ranchester, WY 82839

In the Memo please put: In memory of Betty Patterson

Our family thanks you.
-Romaine and the rest of that crazy Patterson crew.

  5. Dear Romaine--

I'm so sorry for your loss and know that you were so fond of your Mother. I will certainly make a donation in her honor. I hope you can get more rest and sleep than you think you need in the coming months. It really helps the processing and just plain dealing with it all. Much love and thoughts of you and yours, John in Dallas

I just now saw this notice regarding the passing of your Mother. It really touch me because I just lost my Mother on May 9, 2011. I hate to admit it but I've come to realize that I am a BIG Mamma's boy. Not a day goes by that I don't wake up thinking of my Mother and the same when I go to bed. I constantly want to pick up the phone just to hear her voice again. I hope you are able to remember the good things your Mother did for you and always keep her in your heart. No one can even come close to that feeling of loss unless they themselves are unfortunate to be in the same boat. My deepest sympathy to you and best wishes. Sorry this posting was so late but like I said I just saw it.
